Baby #4 : Hassan Abraham

Hi all.

 Who knew this day would come? Haha. Me writing a post of the newest member of our family, our 4th baby boy. Hassan. Oh how, I missed blogging too. I would need a time like this, to be able to sit down peacefully & start writing. This is rare! I am not complaining, coz I think busy is good too. Also the fact that, I am ultimately grateful to be able to take care of my kids 24/7. Special Thanks to Amin :

So, here it goes.

We couldn't believe when we found that we were pregnant again. Just a couple weeks earlier, we went diving in Sipadan. Gosh, it was a not a smooth sailing one for me coz I got vertigo underwater on every dive. So that explains, I was pregnant.

Masa mengandungkan Hassan, I was not as strong as I used to be. Maybe the age factor. Haha. I easily get tired and wish to be in bed all the time. Alhamdulillah, all my boys were so understanding. I told them, "Sorry, boys. Mommy is not feeling too good. Please let me rest/sleep for a while & then I'll go cook/help with homework/send mengaji/etc". Then all of sudden, they would sit down and gave me massages or send me a glass of water. oh God, I'm so blessed for these boys in my life.

My due date was supposed to be on the 9 September 2017. I thot that's just perfect as my birthday is on the 6 June. So 9/9 = 6/6 :) We went to see Dr Siti at first, but was so heartbroken when the nurse informed that Dr Siti doesn't deliver anymore but she's ok seeing us until 24th week. So yeah, we did that and then change to seeing Dr Noor Aini. Who is also my SIL's gynae. We came to like her too.  Everything was great, Hassan was growing so well, we knew it was a boy even before the 5th month detailed check up, definitely not so shy to show his 'thang' during ultrasound scan. Haha.

Then Dr Noor Aini gave us the news that she wont be around during my due date. She had planned to go for her annual hiking trips with friends-in one of the Himalayas trails! Yikes! But we wanted to deliver naturally, no plans of inducing so yeah we said nevermind. Please just refer us to another gynea. She was also expecting us to go earlier as it is my 4th child but that didn't happen! haha.

Amin pun canceled his NY trip coz doc was worried that I would deliver earlier. That didn't happen! (Sorry, Bie!)

I was nervous to go see this new gynae as I've never heard of her before. All I knew was she was new, 2 years in SJMC and previously in HKL. Her name is Dr Pauline. So, our appointment with her was so nice & simple. She was thorough when checking and it turned put that Hassan was already 3.4kgs. 1 week before due date. We were shocked coz Hassan was only 3kg the last time we checked, 1 week earlier. She advised that I get myself induced by Monday if there wasn't any natural signs, we told her that we wanted to have it naturally. She was worried if the baby goes beyond 3.5kgs if we were to wait any longer, even to our due date. Meanwhile, I went on doing alotta walk & housework to help or cepatkan la nak beranak tu.

Our appointment was on Saturday, 2/9/17.

*Ok, sambung tulis cerita as dah letak on hold for a long time. 12 January 2019.

Hari Raya Haji went by, punya lah kita dapat rasa that he will come out then. Haha.  Also super hoping then sebab Dr NoorAini masih ada di KL. Seperti yg dijanjikan... Malam, 4th September 2017. If there's no signs I should just check myself in and get ready to be induced. We dropped Rayyan, Aydan & Jordy at my parents place. Antara sebab yang berat jugak was I sedih tak dpt be there for Jordy's orientation day & 1st day, where I would normally akan sibuk setiap kali for my other 2 boys. But hey, Jordy was in great hands. So I told myself to just focus on myself & Hassan.

We arrived at the hospital. Nurse told us to go get something to eat & come back by 10pm. Makan nasi ayam & went back upstairs to see whats next. Tukar into hospital gown, I was already 3cm diluted but if not mistaken my cervix was still not 'soft'. So it wont be anytime soon lah.

Nurse told me that there wasn't anything that they will do that night. I just rest and wait for what will Dr Pauline suggests. They kept telling me that the baby is big, by the look or when they manually measured my belly! I started to get more nervous with that , as I am already have so many thoughts like I wasn't familiar with the gynae. Overthing, I know! :P


Continuing this on Hassan's 2nd birthday. 

I went out to get some walk... to help induce the labour. Though I wasn't experiencing any pain or even signs. I got tired (of not having any signs haha), I went back to our room to rest some more. Then the nurse came in to tell me that she would induce me then, but supposed to be a slow process which means... I will only be in labour in the morning. Texted my family to tell them that they baby will not be out anytime soon, so better that they go to bed.

So I changed, got ready. Did the 'empty-tummy' thingy and all of a sudden, I'd say 10minutes later.... I was already having contractions. It was ok at first but it got worse by the minute. Asked for the epidural straight away, coz hey honestly I was so scared of the pain. Haha. The doctor came & putting the epidural was not as easy as during Jordy's time. I was also already in pain. Palking teruk is the whole entire time, the epidural did not work. Which means, it was already too late.

My contractions was really high & the nurse suggested that I take the gas to help with the pain. I wanted to pass, it did nothing to me preciously too. But thank god, ntah la sebab dah jadi diver... the breathing was better that the gas actually helped! Hahaha phewwww...! Its all about the breathing baby!

Amin was there every step of the way.. My gynae came to see me, I told her I was so much pain. Epidural not working. I was already 7cm at 3am. The details are already blur to me now, Geezz, my fault for now writing sooner. Hehe.

All I remember, sangat sangat sakit, but the breathing technique which I just learnt then helped to manage my pain. Alhamdulillah. All of a sudden, at 4am they told me that the baby is ready to come out. Ooohhhh earlier when checking how much dilated I was... the nurse accidentally burst my waterbag! And that made it lagi la sakit. Uwa!

The nurses & the gynae was excellent. Coach Amin, takyah cakap la kan... haha. Not long after 3 pushes, Hassan made it out! Alhamdulillah. Syukur semuanya selamat & mudah.

He cried, and cried.. but all calm when I held him. Aww. He weight at 3.5kg, the heaviest among his sibliings. We name him Hassan Abraham. Hassan tu memang dah set even when at 6mth lagi, deciding earlier. This time Amin chose both 1st & last name. Mommy takde idea sgt dah.

Hassan = handsome' or 'good', or 'benefactor
Abraham= also known as the Prophet Ibrahim.

Hassan was expected to arrive during Hari Raya haji, so hence the name Abraham... plus we love the name too. We also thought of Adha but mehhh..

Semoga menjadi hamba Allah yang taat, beriman dan berguna sebaik namanya. InsyaAllah.


We love you Hassan! Thank you for choosing us to be your family. We are so blessed and grateful having you around. You're simply one of a kind .

Happy 2nd Birthday.
5 Sept 2019

Today, you insisted to follow send Jordy to class & instead of going back to the car after, you want us to head on the canteen for breakfast. Not today, baby. We got you nasi lemak for breakie, you mandi right & Now taking a nap in front of the telly.

Baby #3

Syukur Alhamdulillah. Welcoming baby no #3 to the family.

Our 3rd son,  introducing Jordan Arfan bin Amin Ariff Asha'ari.

He was born on the 15th September 2014 at 3:41pm. Weighing at 3.09kg & height 47cm.

Before I forget, baik lah tulis the labour experience here.  Just like I did with the 2 abangs.

I was very lucky to have Amin & my dad to help send, pick up Rayyan to school & therapy a week before the due date.  At that point memang dah tak larat.  Lg ke p) Doctor Siti was worried since I have active daily routine, I wasn't gaining so much weight. I only gained 3/4 kgs throughout. Baby pon was also under weight.  Bagai nak gila jugak la makan anything I could. Tho not much coz I wasn't craving anything or have the selera to eat at all.

The last appointment with Dr Siti,  which was on a Friday, I was 2cm dilated & baby was already engaged. No wonder I was having contractions a few days earlier. 

So,  we were excited to know that the baby was on his way. We brought the boys to makan &  play at Jkids on the next day. I took the opportunity to find socks for myself & jalan-jalan hoping to get dilated lagi. Hehe.

By the time we got home, everyone was exhausted. Kids fell asleep in the car. Then,  Amin & I pulak dah lapar, so Amin went out to get burger tepi jalan for us. While he was out,  my contractions was getting intense. Lepas makan,  I started to monitor & record the consistency. Oh yeah,  it was sakit betul.  Disebabkan dah baby number 3, I didn't want to take any chances la of tunggu2 lama lagi.  So we decided to go to labour ward straight away. 

Dah sampai hospital,  met my parents there so the boys boleh tidur at their place. The contractions pulak dah tak kuat sangat.  Adui. I was already 3cm dilated then anyhow.

Waited thru the night, but nothing happen. 

I had strep b infection (you can Read here),  so I needed to start on the antibiotics right away. The antibiotics course was every 6 hours. So that was it, I couldn't get out anymore.

Doc Siti came the next morning, Sunday, to see me.  I told her that I'm planning to take the epidural.  Hehe.

So all the while in the ward,  I spent my time duk jalan-jalan keliling to naturally induce lah,  but I was still at 3cm with no major contractions. Manja manja je contractions dia.

So Dr Siti yg dekat counter tu pun panggil la as dia tgk I jalan-jalan dari tadi.  She suggested that I induce since I'm planning to take epidural anyway.

I was against inducing coz SAKIT! but what she said made sense la sebab takde la sakit pun kalau nak amik epi! Hehe.

Around 4ish, my parents came & with the boys.  Gosh, I missed them so much. Made me feel so much better.  I was worried.  I can't lie. Aunty Anin came with Uncle Lili too.  Alip &  Haziq came around after lunch. I was no where near labour.  Hehe. 

Amin & I decided to wait till Monday morning if the baby Tak keluar by then & only then we will induce. We were hoping it will be all natural.
Sunday night yang membawa ke Monday morning, I had kind of strong contractions.  Amin said "tunggu dulu"  when I asked if I should tell the nurse.  This time nurse dah tak jaga my Contractions rate sebab dah takde lama dah since warded.  Yeap,  it went away just like that after a few hours. 

Monday morning it is, so dah confirm la induce.  Dr Siti came & told me that she has 2 czer operations in the  morning which means she will only be free by noon. Suggested that I get the epidural done by 10ish & induce by 11ish. 

I decided to get epi anyhow coz I remember how painful it was.  Omg! Haha no joke man! No joke! Crazy painful.  But the doctor who did it this time around was awesome, he was alot better that the precious doc. 
Doctor ni buat cepat & tangkas! Omg. Sebab saya adalah nervous time tu. 

All done by 1130am.

Doctor Siti came by 1230am. I was still at 3cm dilated but she said the baby dah in 'lock' position. She predicted that it will be a fast one since this is my 3rd baby. "By this evening,  you can hold your baby already", she said.  Hehe.

Around this time jugak, the epidural has already kicked in.  Can't feel my legs.  I was like wow! Nurses had to help me to move. I wasn't comfortable with it,  not able to move on my own.. Ohh man. Resah semacam rasanya. Somewhat dizzy jugak. From the ctg scan,  my contractions was strong but I don't feel anything at all.  Huhu,  I cheated labour pains. So while waiting til the time I have to push,  Amin slept,  while I tried to get the resah feeling outta my head & get some rest. Had my fone while me,  listening & reciting to Surah Maryam, Surah Yasin,  Ayat Qursi & selawat2. Lights had to be switched off coz it made me all dizzy. 

By 3pm, nurses pon dah tukar shift & coincidently the nurse who 1st greeted me on Saturday night, came in to check on me. To see how I was doing & the 'opening'.

While doing all that,  another nurse came in.  She then said to her colleague, "Can you pls call Dr Siti,  its time". 

I was like "What now? (Hahha sounded so rude kan but I couldn't believe it!) Am I fully dilated now?" she smiled, nodded & said "Yes"  Oh wow, ok. 

Dengan pantasnya,  dia pon set up the room, while the other nurse tried to call Dr Siti.  They couldn't get her.  Aku dah cuak Gila! Haha. 

In my head, macam baru saja doc kira 3cm, in about 2 hours Dah buka lagi 7cm. Wow.  Seriously.  Masa Rayyan pon induced, but rasanya setiap jam 1cm je.  Memang sangat terkejut. 

Epidural was switched off.  Nurse helped me to push.  Couldn't remember how many pushes till they can see the baby's head.  Doc came sometime at 3:30pm. Thank God, I had a lot to energy then (the beauty of epidural hehe). Doc pon set up,  Letak all the linens or blue plastic around my legs...  She told me that she would give baby straight to me for skin to skin contact...  Well,  I loved it! The 2 abangs tak buat macam ni pon. Different doc different style kan?

Again, I can't remember how many times I had to push till baby came out! Maybe it was just 3 strong ones.... Thanks to my coach aka Amin! ;) 
It was an easy delivery...  All went well, syukur Alhamdulillah. Doc passed the baby to me straight away. Baby was crying.  Nurses were busy cleaning him up and sedut2 nose & mouth area,  while I was admiring our little baby,  in my hands! amin potong the umbilical cord like he did with Rayyan &  Aydan. After that they took him away to weigh,  did all other tests &  Amin to Azan. 

Just love the feeling.  It felt surreal.  I love the feeling of post delivery. Just so blessed &  thankful to be given the chance to experience this.  I would do it again,  definitely! With epidural of coz! Haha. 

Doc said,  it was just a small tear,  but it's ok.  It was a great experience with Doc Siti.  She was  very gentle,  caring & superb gynea lah. 

Baby was given back to me to feed him.  It didn't took him long, he got it after a few trial! Alhamdulillah. They then brought him to the nursery while I waited for a ward. Before moving to our room,  the nurse got me cleaned up.  I don't remember they did that before this. It totally made me feel better &  'cleaned'. 

Nek Nin &  Jessie came just in time. They were the 1st ones to see baby Jordan. 

Time ni jugak,  I experienced the after labour pains for the 1st time. Omg,  cheated labour pain but didn't know that the after pains was cray cray too. Due to the placenta shrinking, trying to get back to its original size.  It was even worse during breastfeeding! (Coz while breastfeeding, it helps the placenta to shrink faster naturally) Ponstan every 6hrs is no joke! They said that it takes about 4 day to 2weeks! omg! It normally accours when or after the 3rd baby.  It gets painful after each baby.  Yikes! Can't help thinking of my grandma who has 11 kids!

All was ok except that we had to stay longer.  Jordan were still not peeing since Day 1.  His Pead was on leave so the paed ganti said, they will let us discharged but have to come back if baby was not still peeing. Alhamdulillah, he peed once we got home that same night.

The 2 abangs was so happy to receive his baby Adik at home. Alhamdulillah.

Syukur Alhamdulillah untuk rezeki yang telah dikurniakan.  3 amazing boys. 

It took us forever to find his name.  But we are happy & humble to name him Jordan Arfan.

JORDAN = The country/river
ARFAN = Gratitude

Arfan is also a combo of Amin,  Aydan &  Rayyan's second names... ARiff, Faris & ilhAN. Ok,  ni baru perasan haritu.  Just nice!

3rd Pregnancy

Yeap, you got that right,  I am pregnant again. This came quite a surprise for us all, but we are very thankfull for this rezeki. Alhamdulillah. I am excited. 

We are at 15weeks & the EDD is 17 September 2014. 

So far,  it has been great.  Like previous pregnancies, I don't really get morning sickness or anything, not at all in fact.  

Dr Delaila is still on leave, kindda sad about that but Dr Christina is great too.  So, it's fine.  I'm sure she'll do a great job too.  Insyallah.

Update on Aydan : 7MONTHS

I wish I can write as much as did masa Rayyan dulu.  Sorry Aydan, masa sangat mencemburui kita. Hehe but I will still try as much as I can. 

Aydan is 7months old now.  He has taken all his jab sampai takat ni, termasuk la the optional ones.  The last time we checked he was 7.5kg at 6months old.  Growing so well this little one. 

Masih sama seperti his usual self,  manja teramat.  Hehe with me especially, now he likes to play with daddy too. He loves his Abang,  that's for sure! Of course, Abang is so in love him it him too.  They make each other laugh,  boleh main sesama.  I hope & think that they'll be best brothers til the end.  InsyaAllah.

Bab makan,  he's still on breastmilk. Still feed at night tho I'm planning to wean him off.  He's eating well too,  Eats everything that we prepare for him...  Servings pun dah bertambah.  His favourite are bananas, sweet potato & porridge with carrots, chicken and broccoli.  Least fave pulak is apple.  I'm thinking to write another post about his home made purees.

At 6months, he can sit unsupported. Now he's learning how to crawl. Slowly, he's getting no the hang of it. He now can Pick up small things with his tiny fingers and straight into his mouth.  Tho maybe a little more practise would be better.

Potty Training for Rayyan

Hi Everybody!

Rayyan is officially off diapers! Yeay!

We started way before... but I wasnt consistent because I was heavily pregnant. Then, he kind of got the idea of going to the potty. By night time, I dah pakaikan dia diaper, takut dia tak pandai nak control masa tidur. Masa siang pulak, the distance  from our home to his school could take up about an hour, memang tak berani nak ambil risiko.

Then tak lama lepas tu, when Aydan arrived... Rayyan didn't want to cooperate. He insisted on diapers. Aiyak!

So recently, a week before he started going back to school again, I decided to train him one more. He had a few 'accidents' and then terus he asked for diapers. We encourage him & told him that he's doing a great job :) Kasi la semangat. Memang betul, just go all out je terus. This time, walaupun waktu malam tetap dia tak pakai diaper tapi dia berjaya! Only on the 3rd night ada 'accident' sikit la on OUR bed! hehe Masa keluar jalan-jalan pun, I took the risk to not let him wear the diaper. Ada jugak sekali je accident dekat Mothercare. Tapi lepas tu dah takde lansung.

I still keep on reminding him if he wants to go "shishi". It annoys him! Haha. He would normally reply "No Thanks!" My silly baby!

Nowadays, he doesn't need me to assist him any more. He can do all by himself. Even his teacher told me that he can go to the loo himself. Wow kan! Im so proud of him!

I've been teaching him to shishi while duduk, well I forgot that he's a boy and boys pee while standing. Just yesterday I saw him doing it... I was like "Oh gosh, he is a big boy now!" Amin said he didn't teach him that, I figured maybe he learned in school(?)

He has no problem with 'No 2' too :) While doing 'No 2' just now, I went in to prepare mandi for Aydan... he suddenly asked me "Hey, where's my newspaper?" Hahah mana la dia belajar, budak bertuah tu!

Untuk keselamatan tilam, I put a layer of the laundry plastic cover on his mattress & on top of it is a muslin towel to serap air kalau dia shishi dalam tidur.

I know its a little too late to potty train him but I'm so proud of him! Within days, he can go completely without the diapers. +proud mummy+

In the news today

Saw the headlines in the morning but I never thought it would be someone I know. It was a shocking & sad news to be happening to my gynae, Dr Delaila Ahmad.

 

 

I hope the attackers will get caught & punish! Assholes!

 

Meanwhile, let's pray that she'll recover soon. InsyaAllah

Aydan's 1st month check up

On our way to the hospital 

Wassup! 

Our trip to the hospital was a smooth one today. Thank God the crowd wasn't like gila, so we manage to settle everything by 12;30pm.  Phew.  We got there by 10ish.

Aiyo, should have taken pics while at the hospital kan? Ala, I didn't even take any picture of Aydan when he got his jab too! Boohoo!

Ok,  now I am sad! 

He was all cute in his all stars outfit that Nik (Aunty Bah) got for him. Baik saja dia tadi,  duduk dlm carrier while Dad carried him all over the hospital.  Hehe.  Abang was good too.  Behaved the whole time.

His height now is 45cm & weight pulak is....

Jeng jeng jeng....

4.89 kg yo!

He's almost 5kg now from 3.22kg at birth.  Alhamdulillah. I am very happy that he's gaining a lot of weight,  my little bambam. (tho I wish people will just stop asking/saying why Rayyan is skinny.. geez, maybe he got the skinny genes, I don't know!) 

Anyways, Aydan got his 2nd hepatitis B jab & thank goodness tiada demam sampingan.  Phew. 

Masa our turn to see the doctor, Aydan & I was in the nursing room. Dah sedap susu dia pun tidur lah. Doc did all the baby test dengan jayanya walaupun matanya tutup. Bila time nak cucuk, dia pun bangun.Just in time kan? He cried a little bit & terus Doc dukung dia jadi berhenti lah nangis. Good boy! 

Just like his abang, he got rashes all over his face now. Even on his neck too. 

What we've done so far is to bathe him with sabun Cetaphil & letak lotion Eucerin. Doc said to continue with that je. Also to wipe his pipi/muka bila dah habis susu dengan towel basah & towel kering selepas itu, Praying that he will get well soon. Kesian dia.

Baby Aydan is 1month old

Time flies.  I can still clearly remember the last day I sent Rayyan to school.  Being all tired and couldn't wait to pop.  Ha sekali dah sebulan ni ha!

He's doing well.  First 2 weeks was all sleep for him. Tidur je kerja,  tak tidur..  Susu! Alhamdulillah,  exclusively breastfed. 

Lepas tu dah susah sikit nak tidur malam.  Selalu na menangis.  But when Maktok ada,  slept over when daddy was away elok je dia tidur & tak menangis.  Kena dodoi sambil menyanyi. His favourite song is "Are you sleeping,  Brother John?"

Will be updating his height & weight progress tomorrow.  Esok ada check up &  jab sekali. 

Baby #2

Here's welcoming our 2nd baby into the family!

Born on the 13 June 2013 aka 13.06.13 (nice huh?) at 22:25hrs. Weighing at 3.22kg.

I didn't expect my debob baby to be more than 3kg, Coz during Rayyan's time he was estimated to bearound  3ish Tp he was only 2.89kg when he came out. Doctor's calculation may not be accurate in terms of size & yada yada via ultrasound sometimes. So yeah,  I was surprised! A nice surprise of course :)

I've been wanting to blog about my experience, so here it is... before I forget about it :P 

I started to feel the series of mini contractions the night before.  It was just Me & Rayyan at home. After we had our dinner, I suddenly decided to have a long warm shower which  was when I felt my 1st contraction & knew it was time.  Siap potong kuku dah to get ready. Texted Amin about it then went to sleep. Well, tried to sleep. I couldn't really sleep though, but I needed the rest. 

Contractions became more intense & regular by 6am. That's when I say lets's to go to the hospital.  Packed our bags,  well finalise la kiranya since I've pre-packed a week earlier.

Rayyan was up early too,  explained to him that the baby is coming & that we need to go to hospital but we are sending him to Hatok's house. Luckily he understood and obeyed.  Tak byk cerita lah.

Dah sampai hospital but my contractions takde la kuat mana, it was ok mehhh gitu je. Adoi but rasa sakit bebenar. By then,  I was already 4cm dilated. 

So Amin went to register for me; great thing was that, nasib baik the room we wanted tu masih available. Walaupun they did not change it as I requested in my pre-register  form. Dah namanya rezeki kan? 

At 12ish, Abah came  with Nek nin & Rayyan to check on me.  Rayyan pun qda therapy on the same day. Jessie took half day to be with us too.  Mom came around 7am but I was already in labour.

Around 4ish, the contractions was still low so the nurses suggested that I go for a walk, so yeah I did. Even went out to lepak with family in the waiting room.  It became stronger at around 7ish. I ate my dinner,  and got back to my bed. Amin was beside me all the way. 

I made up my mind to not take the epidural this time coz I for 1,  thought that I could handle the pain since I was not induced and 2, didn't know what the pain crazy! Hehe. 

Alhamdulillah, the walking around in the ward paid off! The pain got stronger & I was dilating. I finally I took the gas. Oh man,  it only made me maybe calmer,  but oh Damn it! the pain was unbearable. By 8;30pm the doctor was already on her way to the hospital while I was 7cm dilated.  Dia makan dulu,  then only at 9ish she came to  see me & break my waterbag. By then,  I was already 8cm dilated.

Meanwhile, dekat bilik menunggu pulak, dah ramai relatives, uncles, aunties & cousins came to support & sama-sama menunggu ketibaan si kecil ni. I was so happy & terasa sungguh disayangi tambah bersemangat nak deliver. Ye lah knowing all these lovely people yang datang to be here with us. Yes, I am lucky, Alhamdulillah. My parents, Rayyan, Aunty Nin, Jessie, Ayah Jone, Aunty Not, Danial, Iqa, Maksu, Alif, Yana, Tina & Hafiz. Tak lupa jugak pada yang mendoakan dia rumah. 

So sweet of the doctor to come in to my ward again to ask me "Narisha,  are you ok?" haha I seriously wanted to laugh coz sampai jadi risau gak doctor tgk I punya tak tahan sakit.  I just nodded.  By this time dah high with oxygen. Oh man,  I don't understand the concept la gas tu! 

Bila dah 10cm dilated,  tunggu doctor coz she was in the other labour room.  Aiyo.  Sebelum amik gas,  I believe I could handle the pain with my breathing technique,  but oi takde maknanya dah lepas sakit gila tu.  Kelam kabut breathing dah. Hehe.  Menjerit ada la. I think i hurt Amin a little bit by grabbing his hand wayy too kuat. Hahaha.

Doctor was also rushing for another labor, tp a caeserian one so agak stress disitu bila saya pon tak nak dia pegi sana dulu sebelum settle dengan saya. Wah gitu. Selfish. U got to baby. Sometimes, of course. 

Masih ingat lagi, at this point i was already meneran sebab nak menahan sakit. Oh my. But the nurse told me not to, kalau tidak boleh terkoyak dibawah sana. Adoihai, pulak dah. The whole time I was cursing myself for not taking the epidural. Haha. YaAllah, sakit dia memang tiada tandingan. I honestly didnt expect. I thought that I could handle pain but obviously, I couldn't. 

Almost dah tak dapat nak tahan lagi dah penderitan itu apabila contractions pon dah takde gap, tiada rest... Twice or 3 times in a row. Woah. Ini anak kedua, tapi cerita macam 1st time beranak kan? 

Luckily, tak lama lepas tu doctor pun sampai dan sudah masanya untuk meneran betul-betul. Hehe. Dengan sokongan padu daripada Amin, nurses & doctor sendiri menyokong "Come on, Narisha!" Dalam masa 5 minit, selamatlah saya melahirkan bayi ini ;) 

Saya betul-betul terasa meneran kali ni macam was harder this time. Maybe because baby was a bit bigger than the brother? Maybe! But, I was really pushing. Thank god la pulak that I wasn't blur & went "ok, how do I push?" Hehe. I managed to follow  instructions from the nurses; To pegang handle pada katil, dekatkan dagu pada dada semasa 'push' & I pushed pada masa masa yang sesuai. Hoorahh!  Seingatnya,  it was 3pushes. Amin said that Aydan's (that's what we are naming him) head was facing down masa kepala dulu yang keluar. Oh betapa leganya,  apabila dah berjaya push dengan selamat & tanpa bantuan lain.  Memang bersyukur.  

 

Amin sempat record the time when the baby came out, nak dengar his first cry. Walaupun begitu, ia tidak akan di dengari oleh sesiapa. Hehe. It should be kept private too right? Jawapannya,  Yes! :) 

Walaupun menyesal masa tu kerana tiada epidural, tapi I am still thankful for this experience. Alhamdulillah. Now I know for sure how it feels like. A natural childbirth. Epidural is really a shortcut, I tell chu! I can't stop thinking how my grandma did it with her 11anaks ok! Eleven! Bukan ada gas ke apa pulak tu, ok tak perlu bayangkan. (Al fatihah kepada arwah) 

Alhamdulillah, all went well. I am fine & most importantly our baby is ok too. We are naming him Aydan but haven't decided on his second name yet. By far, he's been good & easy to take care of. Cuma macam biasa lah, bila nak susu & diaper dah ada isi tu dia menjerit lah.  Lepas tu then he'll  be ok. Back to sleep most of the time pun. Hehe. Biasalah kan. He's fully breastfed. Umbilical cord tanggal exactly 2weeks lepas bersalin. Uri dia ditanam right next to his brother's, all was taken care of by my parents. Semoga adik beradik ni akan sayang, menjaga each other (dan adik-adik yg lain jika ada lagi) sampai bila-bila, bersatu & bahagia dunia akhirat bersama. YA Allah,  jauhkan mereka dengan perasaan hasad dengki,  benci,  cemburu & sebagainya di antara satu sama lain.  

I am taking this opportunity to say thank you to everyone; Amin, my parents, brother, aunties, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends & relatives for everything. I am very lucky to have such amazing supprt system. I can never repay what you all have done for me/us. My parents especially.  Big big thanks. Semoga tuhan saja yang dapat membalas jasa baik mereka semua.

Seluar Sekolah

Semenjak dah pegi sekolah nih, part tu jugak la most of his seluar dah senteng or yg belum pakai masih belum muat jugak.  Jadi kena la beli yg baru. Cari yang 3/4 kind so senang dia nak active-active dalam class dia kan. 

I went to Brands Outlet kat Ikano tu sebab ingatkan nak memborong jadi pegi la kedai yang murah skit. Mak aih, satu seluar reject pun dah harga rm50an. Hmph. Terus keluar from kedai and move on to the next kedai.

Ada jual baju/seluar Miki. Familiar? Kalau beranak umur-umur I, then pasti kenal. Nasibku baik, kedai tu ada pulak discount. Up to 50%. Ha terbaik. So most seluar I get is RM39. Cantik pulak tu. Ada lagi cantik tp harus la taste mahal, takde la discount kan. Tapi redha je ngan apa yang kita dapat ni. Good enough.

Rayyan goes to school

This little boy of ours, started pre-school last week. We got a free 3-days assessment.

Over the weekend, we kept reminding him that he will start schooling. Not sure if he understood, heck, he's only 2 1/2 yo!

Both of us couldn't sleep, nervous, I don't know.. imagining the worse.

The day came, we all woke up early. Mandikan dia, sangat express tapi siaplah shampoo & gosok gigi. 

I  made Nutella sandwich for his 10:30am break, and also brought a banana for him to snack as well. He couldn't wait for it. All the way to school he kept asking for it, jadi before masuk class I gave him a piece of the sandwich and dengan cutenya, sambil jalan ke sekolah, dia pun happily makan...

We got to his school, bukak pintu.. bukak kasut.. dia masih confident jalan depan when they showed us his classroom. Walau dah introduced to his teacher, he was all good.. mata dah terpegun tengok how colourful and exciting the room was. 

We bid our goodbyes and both of just balik ke office. 

Oh boy! We were expecting some tears at least.  Atau perlu pujuk untuk dia masuk ke class but oh no he didn't. It went so well that both of us was shocked to see how cool he was.

Dad fetched him from skool on the 1st day, when the cikgu gave him his bag and terus berlari dia dapatkan  Dad dia... first thing he asked "Where's Mom?" Awwwwwww...!! He was all happy.

2nd day, I pulak hantar and ambil dia... again, I packed for him the Nutella sandwich cause he liked it. Insisted that I didn't letak his bekal in the bag, sebab dia nak pegang sendiri. Wahh. Berlari jugak dia ke sekolah. Sampai ke gate, terus bye saja. Sekali he patah balik, and asked me to come along with him. Rupanya his classroom's door was shut. Hehe. Dah masuk & kiss me good bye dia pun masuk ke class and terus duduk & main. Masa ambil dia pulak, he was happy to see me. He wanted to tengok fish, I cari-cari tapi tak jumpa... harus la terus nangis when I say that we had to leave. Aiyo.

On his 3rd day, we both went to send him cause haritu jugak ada meeting with the owner of this kindy. buat assessment utk 3 hari Rayyan dah kat situ and also a get to know session. All went pretty well. The feedback that we got :

1. They were impressed that Rayyan never cried or asked for his parents
2. He participate in class cuma tend to find a spot so he can do it alone
3. Not a social butterfly
4. Suka imagine
5. Kurang makan

We are glad that the owners was in the same page as we are. They will help us on the part where Rayyan doesn't eat much. Maybe by tengok kawan-kawan dia makan, dia pun nak jugak...

Everything seems to be OK now. It wasn't easy for us to find him a play school, I've been asking around, went to a few places but only this place that I find it 'different' and 'kisah' pasal students and most of all... its learning thru play.

Rayyan is so much into learning. He's rajin at reciting the ABCs, 123s, shapes, animals & song. Masa mandi or just anytime. apa yang kita rasa is, he needs this. Sekali boleh socialize, mix dengan kawan2 baya dia.

I miss blogging. I could not find time to sit and blog like I used to. This is sad.

Or even if I have the time, my laptop will be occupied by none other than my little one. Hihi. He watches Elmo's World - daily! Tak cukup tu, layan jugak YouTube di iPad.

Tsk Tsk Tsk Rayyan, Rayyan, Rayyan...

He'll be turning 33 months in a few days time. Kindda hard to kira since there's not 30th in February! Hihi.

At this point he has a wide vocabulary knowledge, but still haven't really spoken a sentence or hold a conversation with us. But he can ask 'where' questions. For example, if I were to pick him up from the sitter and once we reached home he will cari and ask for his Dad.

"Where's Dad?"

Or when he could'nt find his toys or susu.

"Where's susu? Where did it go?" Ain't he cute? hihi


Or when he's outside at night, he'll look up in the sky and ask,

"Where's the moon? There Moon"

if he can't find moon & he'd go

"Where did it go?"

He can call his sitter, whose name is Desi, as Ay-si :)

Calls Amin's Uncle as Fa-fa, which was supposed to be Papa.

Starting this Monday, we are sending him to a Pre-school. A 3-hour session at Kizsports & Gym near our place. We think that it's time that he should mix around with his peers lah. He doesn't have problem socializing, but its good to have friends to learn & play with. Asik main sorang-sorang, kesian jugak.

We are not pressuring him to study and learn. Not at all. I think he's doing great now, learning at his own pace. Other that socializing being the main factor, we'd like him to have some activities on his own. Be independent.

Heck, its only 3 hour session for 3 days saja. A bit pricey, I agree. But its alot cheaper than Tumble Tots. Oh well, whatever it takes for our little man.

I was reluctant to send him to play group like Gymboree, where parents need to participate. We do that all the time at home kan. Gurau senda di pagi raya. I am not fond of that lah.

Or maybe it was me who tak nak socialize :P

We'll see how that turns out. Hope he'll have a good time. If he's not than we wont force la kan.

It's the 30th today, and it is marks the 30th month since Rayyan was born :) Yes, time flies. Haha there I go again.

I have not been updating bout him for sometime now. Apologize for that. I hardly get the chance to.

Well, firstly he a BOY now, yeah a boy! He's into cars and messy and you know all those stuff that boys do.

He loves watching shows like Mickey Mouse, Chuggington, Thomas and as for movies, he's into Cars 2, Ice Age, Beauty & The Beast. Anything else, he will be shouting "Queennnn, Queeeennnn" means he wants to watch Lightning McQueen from Cars :P So don't even try to trick him with other movies coz, he will go on merengek "Queeennn... Queeenn" until dia nampak muka si Lightning McQueen tu.

It's been a month, that he's wean off from breastmilk. It was kindda hard during the 1st week, dia akan wake up around 4am for milk and mengamuk not being entertainted by us. Of course, I will also be up to pujuk and told him that its enough and he's a big boy now. Lama-lama dia faham juga, and jarang sangat dah bangun tengah-tengah malam for susu. More sleep time for him and ME too :) And later, he still tries now and them to see if he's allowed to have some more. Dad selalu kesian suruh I give in jer, tapi I got to be the strong one here. Sekarang, he just wants to be near 'it' and not even try to have a 'taste' anymore. Yes, I am proud of him to be able to understand and 'control' himself.

Dia masih belum lafaz 2-3 perkataan or make a sentence yet, but I am impress with his vocabs. He learns alot from Youtube and people around him. These are a few examples of words he knows

1) Shapes: Triangle, Square, Star, Circle
2) Vehicles : Truck, Car, Bicycle, Train, Van, Bus, Motorcycle (but you only hear cycle)
3) Food : Ice Cream, Banana, Apple, Cupcake
4) Animals : Cat, Dog, Duck, Pig, Chick, Fish, Bird (pronounce as Board), Frog
5) Malay words : Habis, Susu (Shushu), Sakit(Akit),
6) Names : Mom(For everyone including me), Dad(Only for his Dad), Tok (for my dad, Atok), Papa (for Uncle Mat), Mickey (Mouse), Lightning McQueen (Queen), Mo (Elmo & Nemo),

He used to be afraid of his tents, but since last Hari Raya Haji, he overcame his fears and now has a good time in his tent. I letak alas, cushions and dia pulak bawak masuk his 'friends' the dolphin & shamu, Elmo, cars and just anything else he likes. See, such a grown up.

Likes: Chocolates, Pisang be it la goreng, kerepek, the fruit - he loves pisang, to spend hours in the tub, Choo choo train where he now can pasang sendiri landasannya, berangan bila tgk show lepas tu dia pegi one corner and ikut balik apa orang tu buat. Amboi Hehe. iPad is his friend which he calls, Ah-Pad.

Dislikes : Hat unless its really panas, Selimut, Bantal when tidur, anything new, slides or swings- he prefers to run and see the surroundings

By the way, Rayyan's dad wiil be going for another surgery to take out  a tube from the last surgery. Please pray that all will go smoothly. Thanks :)

Assalamualaikum.

Selamat menyambut bulan Ramadhan al Mubarak. Semoga segala ibadah & pekerjaan kita sempurna dan diberkati olehNya.

It has been 13 days of fasting, so far so good. Hari pertama sungguh terasa sekali. Lapar & mengantuk. Sepanjang 13 hari ni juga, baru sehari je yang kami dapat sahur. Mengantuk sungguh! Selalu akan terbabas dan cuma tersedar bila waktu imsak. Teruk kan? But, we'll try sangat to bangun tapi tewas! :P

Sudah lama juga tak ber-blog kan? Alhamdulillah. I have been busy.To me, busy is good :) I've started work again since mid June. Everything's doing well. I'm doing event and also some graphic design. See, what's not to like kan? Everyone there are so nice and warm. As if, I've been there for ages.

Since then jugak, Nek Nin helped to jaga Rayyan the 1st 2weeks and lepas tu sehingga hari ini, Rayyan duduk di rumah mummy in Kg Tunku. Jehan pun dah balik from Vancouver, she's been the one yang menjaga Rayyan. He's doing well & enjoying himself kat sana. I'm not worried at all. :) Of course, I miss him terribly everyday and hour. :(

I can't remember if i have mentioned that we have finally gotten our house keys, so yeah. we did. Somewhere early June. Been spending our weekends to find a perfect kitchen cabinet. By perfect I meant, something we could afford, great workmanship and can make our dream kitchen come true. So far, they are quoting us at around RM8,000.  That maybe a bit too much our our small kitchen. Er, why are things so expensive?

Good thing is that, we bought our cooker and kitchenaid already! yeay! More pics soon ya? They are still on the way. :) So we guess that, until we have enough money or when dapat bonus ke (maybe not from my side) then we'll start planning again. So for now, no kitchen cabinet :) I am fine with that.

for Rayyan pulak, he's not talking yet. But here are some of things he knows :-

- A Apple, B Ball, C Cat/Car, D Dog, E, F Fish, H, I yang lain agak agak pelat skit of he knows the sound of what it stands for, example he knows Pig when he sees P.
- Salam dah pandai, kalau nak balik or jumpa orang mesti kena salam dulu.
- Loves trucks, i think I have mentioned that.
- Jab semua dah settle.  Alhamdulillah.

First movie date after almost a year!

Midnight show tadi kami went to watch the latest Pirates of The Caribbean : On Stranger Tides and to me it is the best one so far! Oh yeah!

I wasn't excited or have any high hopes since the last sequel was a bit crappy lah. A bit too dark also, I have a thing with Dark movies... Tak cukup lampu kind. Ahahah. Another example would be Batman. Oh. Me no likey!

Amin yang memang the one yang excited Dari awal, it was his idea also, I pegi beratur and beli je alang-alang nak beli tix lain. Guess what?!

1) Amin terkejut and melatah and oh yeah it was quite a jump jugak! I couldn't stop laughing. Melatah dia ni dah getting out of hands. Hahaha Ingat balik pon boleh gelak! Alasannya, "ish.. I dah lama tak tengok wayang lah!" ohhh righttttttttt...

2) He slept! Yes towards the part dah nak habis, dia boleh tidur. Dah sampai credit, he told me "bie, I tertidur" hahaha dah la kita duduk kat twin seat tapi I tak sedar pon. Haha kan twin seat macam sharing seat. As usual bila tgk wayang muka I dah macam nak mask screen tu. Haha. So tak nampak la dia pun. Jadinya I la yang kena cerita balik. Of coz the shorter version since he never like yang I suka melalut cerita :)

3) Tu saja. Melampau lah nak banyak-banyak.

I never liked Penelope Cruz... Mulanya pasal love triangle Cruz-Cruise-Kidman. Tapi in this show boleh la terima. Not so gedik as I imagine it would be. So ok lah her being there. Whatevs...

Running Shoes

Amin just got me this new pair of super sexy (well, to me at least!) running shoes from New Balance.

Sekarang sangat bersemangat pegi aerobic and jogging on Sundays with Fat. Bermulanya nak pegi Broga Hill with the girls tapi tak sampai-sampai jugak. Tapi Fat & I decided that we must start exercising, not only to kuruskan badan but also to stay healthy. We are 30 yo!

For the past 1 month, I just wore my mary jane Crocs and some of you will know la betapa besarnya ia kan. Haha. My last sport shoes was the Purple Nike Free that I used to wear everyday from year 2005. Tamat riwayatnya 3-4 years ago semasa bermain badminton.


Berhari-hari survey for a good pair  with budget RM200 saja. Ada jugak jumpa, then last Thursday cari juga lagi pegi ke The Gardens sementara carikan Amin his iPad's backcover casing. Puas cari kat mana-mana, last-last  I think New Balance is nice and dalam budget. Snap a few pics and showed to Amin. He tak berapa berkenan and told me to get something better from Adidas or Nike.

We went to The Gardens again the next day, looked around and seriously ada lah jugak suka kasut-kasut Nike & Adidas yang lawa dan yang berkenan. Tapi mahalnya, MasyaAllah. Sangat. I'm not a pro and I only run once a week. (for now lah! :P) Jadi, buat apa kan?

Then pegi balik pada kedai New Balance. Tried the latest  design and siap lightweight kind, tambah menariknya pink lagi... Since Amin dah offer pada Nike & Adidas, he was willing to naik kan budget tu :) Test punya test, salesboy tu terangkan yang the store ada promotion 20% discount kalau Digi subscribers. Malangnya takde number Digi lah, tapi sempat jugak tanya...

"Saya takde lah... kalau number mak boleh ke? "

Dia jawab... "Bolleeeehhhh...!"

"WOWWW!" jerit dalam hati lah.

Terus the other salesboy tunjuk balik kasut yang I memang dah suka sejak sehari sebelum... apa kan daya masa tu luar budget...

"Kalau yang ni, RM*** je lepas discount.. lagipun yang ni lagi bagus. Ada cushion yang akak nak"

"Ok, saya try yang tu... " cepat ajeeeerr tak tunggu apa dah, budget naik la katakan... hihi

Oh yes, the difference boleh rasa. So much comfier. I like!

Sememangnya teringin jugak pada yang the pink one sebab menarik betul. Lagipun dia category Advance. Takkan semata-mata kaler pink nak pilih tu pulak kan. Amin pun kata ok, the RED one is better and yes, dia bersetuju..Alhamdulillah.. Saya dengar kata suami. Ahaks! :P

Tengok tu, cerita nak beli kasut pun boleh panjang berjela.  Sila lihat saja kasutnya. Semoga dengan ni, lebih membara lah semangatku untuk kurus. InsyaAllah :)

Rayyan Ilhan is 23 Months

Just 1 month until he’s 2 years old. How time flies. There I go again.

He’s such a big boy now.  

We just got back from Langkawi last sunday, itulah sebabnya lambat post entry ni. Tapi tetap kena buat. Let's get on with it :) 

• Rayyan words; Cark (car), Cool, Yesh (Yes), Ah Noo (Oh No!), Nan (Nak), Mom, Dad, Nom (Minum), Fish dah jadi Fitcshh.. haha try pronouncing that!
• Dah potong rambut dia 'Bob style' selepas 2 bulan tak potong, jadi rambut semua sama panjang. Ingatkan masa rambut panjang tu, cheeky... dah potong ni makin cheeky pulak dia :P
• Dah boleh panjat and turun dari katil secara pro. Everytime he managed to do so, he'll say "Yesh!" 

• Dad is his bff! Wants to be like Dad, pakai hair gel & perfume Dad. Haha He must've studied Dad masa bersiap pergi kerja. Haha 
• Masa baby, tak suka pakai baju... tapi now berserah saja... tapi, bila dah pakai baju lawa taknak pulak tukar baju tidur. Ish ish.  
• Knows that everytime as we enter our room, he would be the one yang tutupkan pintu. As if dah jadi duty dia :) He's always careful dengan kaki or jari2 dia. Mak dia kat belakang cam biasa "Haaa jaga kaki.... haaa elok2!" haha 
• not friendly with people, but time orang berborak dia pun nak menyampuk. 
• we'll be sending him to play school, at the moment its Tumble Tots in mind, for him to socialize, learn, play, build up confidence and of coz to channel all his extra energy :P 
• Not only he's good with wooden puzzle boards, but he's also good with puzzle on iPad/iPhone :P 
• When Dad's home, so baru la dia boleh main la dengan iPad. Kalau dapat menjerit dia happy! Tangan pun reach out nak ambil :P 
• He's still into fish, but since dah besar ni suka pada trucks. Lagi lagi kalau when in the car dia nampak crane and he say "Tu! Tu!"
• Punya la marah kalau mintak dia saya "Please", habis apa yang terdekat akan dia campak saja. Masa mula-mula takde pulak prob, elok je nak cakap please. Ish ish.
