Happy Father's Day to my Abah!

Thank you for everything that you've done for me, for us the whole family and even for Amin & Rayyan. No words can ever describe how lucky I am to have a father like you, and I will always love you, always.

You've taught me so much, given me so much more. Sacrificed everything you could to give the best in everything. U r forever appreciated and my love for you has no boundaries.

A rebellious teenager that I was, I have disappointed u so many times, but yet you keep believing in me. (Aiyo, Im not that bad la. Experiencing small2 things only hihi)

Thank you for all ur support, until this very moment. I'm 29 now, but u still think I'm your little girl. I feel like (and act!) that way sometimes pon.

As I was growing, I will sleep late at nite to make a Father's Day card and paste it on your bedroom door. Or slide it. So you can read them in the morning.

But this year, I baked him fruitcake. His favourite cake and I think thats the only cake that he eats. :P This cake is also a recipe from his mom, Arwah Nenek. It reminds him of her. :)

So happy that he liked it and he was excited to know that I was baking him a Father's Day fruitcake.

Nothing beats to see our parent(s) smile, just because we made them feel good.

Father's day celebration dekat e Curve makan kat Tony Roma's. We all had fun! :)

Oh, Amin had his father's day wish came true. Rayyan dah start wallking last night! Yeay !

Fruitful Day!

Woke up the same time Amin nak pegi keja. Rayyan has been the one yang duk kejut kitaorg ni lately :P

Rayyan sgt rindu bapaknya, so after Dad dah mandi, it was time to play with the lil baby. I pon pegi la mandi.. The next time I dpt chance nak mandi mmg susah. Kena tunggu dia tido or something.

We had a napafter dad dah pegi kerja, then mandikan dia. Turun bawah for lunch. We had nasi with fishball soup and I extra ayam goreng cili. SEDAP!

Ard 2pm, I got ready and chowzie anak beranak ke Ikano (minus Dad of coz). I just love to plan my route in the mall. Mana nak pegi, park mana, which shop to go 1st.

I parked at B2 Curve, took the lift to 2nd floor of Metrojaya to see if ada Tommee Tippee bottles yang lawa tu. But they didn't have any nice ones and most of the boxes are opened. Yikes.

Took the escalator to the level 1, where Mothercare is. Aaa-Ha! Found the bottle that I was looking for. Thank God, it was the only box yang tinggal. Woohoo! Still in good condition, so I just grabbed it! Weeee... Only RM50.90.

Next we went to e-Curve IT Hypermarket to look at ONE thing that made me come all the way to Curve today :P They have what I was looking for but....... the thing is RM10 more expensive than the one I saw yesterday and they don't have the colour that I like!

But, the salesgirl was helpful :)

Terus ke Ikano to 'All IT' store to beli je la... hehe. Here is only RM49 and ada PINK! Wee!

So now, i can listen to my music in iPod! Wee! Love it!

Dah dapat apa yang dihajatkan, jadi balik la. All the way, Rayyan was in the stroller- sleeping. hehe. Good boy :)

Romote tu I nak bedazzeled kan ia. Weee.. Now DL-ing songs to iPod so I can hear them on my way in the car for a meeting tonite at Mak Long! Makan satay sedap yoo!

Rayyan's Diaper Bag

Firstly, I apologize for delaying this entry. Not on purpose, my life has never been the same again since he came by :P

Remember the diaper bag that I won from the contest organized by The Fashionista Mom & MOBS? We do still use this bag yang dah nak a year old already.

I don't have any pic of any of use wearing it, but 'll try to get one when the next time we are out.

The first few months masa guna, we had alot of things in it. Heh, apa kurangnya sekarang kan? :P Since we are using MACLAREN XT, we cant hang the bag coz heavy sgt, so hehe Amin la yang kena bawak. But, when I go out alone, then I sorang je la yang bawak. Very the stylo I must say. Lucky that Amin tak bising the bag is pink and segan nak bawak ke.

The bag came with 2 small bags, a clear transparent type, bottle bag and also a changing mat.

Here are the things you can find Rayyan's OiOi diaper bag:-

1- Formula Milk - Just in case :)

2- Bottle

3- Bag for the bottle

4- Sleep suit - Just in case we are at a relative's place till nite time

5- Shorts & Singlet- The weather is so panas!

6- One of his storybooks

7- Small towel to wipe his drrrolllyy :P

One thing that is missing here is his diapers :P I totally forgot about that. Oh well, but just in case I forget, I do keep some in the car :)

Here's how it looks like the bag. There are 2 small compartments- where I put my stuff like breastpad or sanitary pad. Just in case.

It also have a hook thingy which I think can cangkuk my keys.

Ada pocket on each sides of the bag. Normally, its empty. I used to put his sun hat and pacifier in there when he was younger. Easier to grab.

The big pocket dekat belakang of the back is where I put his medical card. Easier kalau nak pegi check up is there.Me being lupa most of the time. Or if anything happens, its always with us. Just in case. :P

Mmg the bag sgt usefull. What I like most about it, its spacious. Has allot of compartments and tahan lasak & lama. I've never cleaned it properly yet, but it still looks good.

The downside are, the bag is quite heavy and we cant adjust the length of the sling.

Oh, but didn't I mention its so stylo? Hehe.

I have seen a few Oioi bags in malls, but i really love the design that we got. Its so US!

My 29th Birthday!

Yes, I am in my last year of being in the 20's!

I never cared how OLD I was getting only until this year when i realized that I'll be 3o soon! Sooner before we know it! Oh well, that's life kan. But, Syukur Alhamdulillah. I am grateful Allah SWT for all the blessings and love and just everything- good and bad for the entire 29 years of my life. I am what I am. I am happy for everything I've achieved.

Anyways, Patty had planned a wonderful hi tea with all the Lolas. Lolas are my girlfriends (dont ask where we got the name from!) and we've not been out and lepak as much as we used to. Shortnya, we miss each other lah. Since ramai yang available. But, unfortunately, Farah already had other plans. (Its ok babes, we'll plan another one soon!)

We had it at One World Hotel. Good thing I didnt eat breakie so I was having fun at the buffet! :D Never much of a buffet person before. :P

Selepas tu ada suprise- cake cutting for the June birthday gals That was me and Walla who celebrates her birthday 3 days after mine. Alhamdulillah, thank you girls for always remembering and celebrate our birthday without fail. Love u LOLAS! Hehe... Tapi dulu2 tempat lagi HAPPENING aahhh.. hehe.

Bab2 cake ni kasi saja pada Patty & Atty, they ordered my new current fave cake- RED VELVET! Woohooo! Super delicious! Yes, the cake as you can see below.

All in all, I had a fun outing with the gals. Jalan2 satu floor OU New Wing pun dah rasa cukup lah. Hahah. Dulu boleh jerr.. singgah plak mall lain pun no hal. Haha. Oh, Atty and I shared to buy a part of butterfly earings. I consider that as a present for myself. :P

Later after that, Amin picked me up and straight to his Aunty's place in Kg Tunku. Lepak2 and then around 8pm, Amin dah ajak balik. Terkejut, coz consider awal tu... tak citer banyak, ikut je... oklah, got ask ask la why so early? huhu.

He then said that he kena hantar I & Rayyan balik first coz "Ada hal, hidup atau mati" Yes, funny man he is. (Love him nonetheless, tho he LOVES to annoy me more than he loves me. Haha!)

As usual, at midnight, birthday gal dpt wish and PRESENTS from everyone! Hehe.

Oklah, I didn't expect anything but I am so happy when he gave me this!

LOVED it! Siap letak dlm box like that! (Terel la u, B!) Hm, tak lain tak bukan, bukan nak cam whore... tapi lebih kepada nak amik gambar anak :P Motive!

I got these gorgeous cards from my family (the white background) with some $$$ wohoo.. they didn't know what to get for me...(remember, I am not a demand type? HAHAH) :P and Amin suruh simpan to beli iPad. Wohoo.. I was thinking that COACH bag... haha...

The other one, yang Rachel & Pheobe FRIENDS card pulak, from TJ! Lovely lovely, siap berlagu.. hehe. Comes along with my fave character- HELLO KITTY keychain! Wee, no picture for that sebab dah sangkut kat bag... Thank you TJ!

That nite jer baru we decided to have dimsum @ Mei San the next day for lunch. Yum Yum. Nek Nin & TJ joined us this time. Johan pulak yang takde. Sgt sgt kenyang! I love the porridge, Yong Tau Fu, & Egg Tart very much! Hehe... Thank you!

Right after that we went to Jaya 33 to get Rayyan's new susu. Balik rumah jer, semua pun tido kepenatan... :P

Oh, Rayyan gave me an early present too. 2 days before my birthday, he WALKED! Sepanjang carpet tu lah. Berkali2 jugak.. So proud of him. But he never did it again since. :P

Spending time with family on my birthday, what more could I ask for? I had a GREAT time!

Twilight Saga: ECLIPSE!

Kalau boleh nak jer tolak Bella tu keluar wallpaper. Haha, I took this coz I want both- Edward and Jacob to be in there.

I'm so excited about this movie, because for one thing... it is from my favourite book of the Twilight Saga.

Personally think that Eclipse is the best of all, sebab adanya fight scene.. war ni mmg my fave. Macam Lord of the Rings pun, Two Towers is also my favourite coz ada perang2. Hehe. Ntah apa apa, tapi betul.

And yang paling best pulak, in this book la jugak I fell in love with Jacob. Sila pay attention pada the tent scene! Ohhh giler best... That might be among the best part in this movie..

I seriously recommend all of you to read Twilight Series books coz I am sure many of us has experienced the same thing or relate to it somehow.

It will be in cinemas on the 8th July.. Ntah kenapa lambat, but nevermind. We the cousins are gonna go watch it together! Wee...! Apart of Yana's birthday celebration. Of coz, Amin will join us too... hehe.. peminat yang tak nak ngaku... :P

Rayyan's Pool Party

Oh well. As many of u know, I LOVE parties. Organizing one for my son's first birthday party was something that I have been dreaming of and planning since he was- a day old? Hehe.

With the help of TJ and Amin, of course. Thank you very much guys.

~ The plan ~

Theme

We chose Elmo coz Rayyan is so crazy over Elmo. Sgt excited kalau tgk shows from Sesame Street, lagi lagi kalau show yang ada Elmo.

Other plans was his fave cartoon characters like Pocoyo (but too baby-ish) and Little Einsteins (but more for toddler and susah cari barang2).

Venue

I browsed thru alot of possible and nice places to have the party, but a few yang closed for renovation lah and yada yada. Then, I asked Mom and she agreed to let us have the party at home, well, if so we could have save some money and thot it will be easier la at home. Rayyan can have his nap and alot of rest with the comfort of his own home kan.

Made the guest list and tu pun dah cecah 120 pax. Just family of mine and Amin's and a few real close frens. Oh me oh my. Sgt tak muat la rumah. After much thinking, and also the kabutness of nak kemas rumah, I've decided to go to the Club that's near to our place. So, it'll be so convenient for all of us. Especially for Rayyan. The only available space that they had was the pool area. Agak cuak sbb mmg musim hujan masa petang. Tapi takper lah, boleh sewa tent.

Went for a visit, we were impressed by the place. Rayyan pun super excited tengok the pool. Habis kasut pun basah sebab dicelupkan dalam pool tu.

It was perfect! So, the theme had to be changed to Elmo Pool Party :P

I dont like the person that I had to deal with at the club, but oh well, biasalah.

Food

We had to take a few dishes from the Club. And were allowed to bring 2-3 kinds from home. Well, cheaper leh. Hehe. In the end, agak sebab mahal, we decided to only order Mee Hoon Goreng (tak pedas so the kiddos can eat as well, with cili potong aside for the adults), Orange Cordial and my fave Teh Tarik,

Nek Nin and TJ came the morning of the party to help make Tuna & Egg sandwiches - which was a big HIT! Sedappp!

Mom helped goreng the Super Yummy McDs-like nuggets and fries. This is mainly for the kids tapi nuggets, mmg dah habis awal2. Hehe. I managed to grab some :P

Ordered Satay from Ayahcik. Ooh super sedap with the condiments and kuah kacang. Terasa nak satay pulak ni! Aunty Nor pon kasi 2 poxes of Kuih Seri Muka. I didnt get to makan, but I know it was so sedap! :)

Mom bought some fruits. We had manggis, rambutan and epal and hidang dalam bakul Sarawak. Oh so nice. Hehe.

Alhamdulillah, semua makanan habis. Only satay pun ada extra to habis malam tu jugak :)

Cakes

I ordered 50pcs of Elmo cupcakes from my bro's gf, Wawa. Her cuppies mmg sedap. Had a hard time to decide on which flavour. Hahah. Only the morning diaorg nak pegi holiday tu, I've decided to order Cheezy Oreo and Strawberry! The cuppies sedap and me love how it turned out. Good Job Wa! Siap bawak the tower coz I so love them!

Pilih cake pun susah, Went to everyone yang buat cake, but none yang I suka coz their Elmo doesn't look like the real Elmo. Dah la mahal. Hehe. Nak fondant pulak tu. :P

Nasib baik, Amee recommended me to her cake lady and terus agreed when I saw her previous Elmo cake. By far yg ada rupa Elmo. I emailed a few contoh and she chose to buat 2 tier cake. Yes, call me poyo but its sad la kan, if rupa tak sama. Plus, the price was reasonable. I loved it! Good Job on the cake!

Decorations

Jenuh la TJ pegi cari barang2 Elmo dekat Melbourne. Tapi suma I sayang nak pakai. Tp peliknya tak byk, rasa2 barang ELmo zaman2 muda mudi I dulu banyak je.

My mom sponsored the helium at the last minute when dengar anaknya giler nak tiup all 100pcs.. When agak dah over budget I just bought the balloons and konon2 nak tiup! Hahaha. We went with Red, Blue & Yellow. TJ temaned and showed us the shop all the way in Shah Alam.

Dad was incharged to 2 main things - Pick up cake and the Bubble area. I went to buy the Bubble Factory thing in Toys R Us. Cari2 masa sale tapi takde. Ok lah, boleh pakai lagi. Having bubbles lagi la best. So exciting!

We got a banner "HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY" to hang kat Cake area. Same place we bought the balloons, Balloon Buzz in Shah Alam.

Amin's boss, was so generous to give Rayyan all the Elmo Foil Helium balloons and alot of other balloon bouquets. Mmg best ada byk balloons around. Meriah.

We also bought a beach ball and pool noodles for the kids at the pool Got those @ Giant KD saje.

Party Favours

This was my big big worry. Not worry lah, but also the most exciting part of the party. But I am happy with have we gathered and gave to the kids who attended Rayyan's party.
