37 weeks

Your baby weighs close to 6.5 pounds/ 2.8 kilograms and may be about 20 inches/ 50 centimetres long from head to toe. Your baby's head is now cradled in your pelvic cavity -- surrounded and protected by your pelvic bones. This position clears some much-needed space for her growing legs and buttocks.

Many babies now have a full head of hair, with locks maybe around one inch/ 2.5 centimetres long. But don't be surprised if her hair isn't the same colour as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes taken aback when their children are born with bright red or blond hair, and fair-haired couples likewise can produce babies with dark hair. And then, of course, some babies don't have any hair at all.

Speaking of hair, most of the downy coat of lanugo that covered your baby from 26 weeks has disappeared, and so has most of the vernix caseosa, the whitish substance that also covers her. Your baby will swallow her lanugo and exterior coating, along with other secretions, and store them in her bowels. These will become your infant's first bowel movement, a blackish waste called meconium.

I'm just sooo soo in love with this family. I watch it almost everyday. They are so cute and entertaining...

They are even in my facebook! ehhe..

My favorite between the twins is Cara coz she's so baik... and for the sextuplets, I like Alexis and Joel. hehe.. comel sgt kan!

Alexis - according to her parents as Wild Child. hehe.. She's always smiling but inside she's one naughty girl. She repeats questions just to annoy you,she loves Adegator -Alligator sebenarnya, and she's just cute!

Joel - He's the last one but so cute! He was lots and lots of ques. I love his episode, where the parents would bring one child to a place to buat apa the kid suka. He went on and on with "Daddy, whats this?" Daddy, whats that?" and also Daddy's little boy.

Here's my favorite episode where Alexis jadi duck and go "quack" "quack" non stop. Yes, this friendly kids love to play dress up.

Today, dah genap 10 tahun pemergian Arwah Tokbah..

How time flies, and time tu adalah, hari yang paling sedih, tak percaya, boleh kata cam tak nak terima jugak la ngan keadaan dan macam2 la rasa masa tu. It was the 1st death in my immediate family, and Tokbah was everything to me.

 

I was in Sabak at that time, just like today... it was raining in the morning... The moment I got home around 1.30pm, I immediately called home and asked how he was doing. That moment, he was just having a chat with my auntie and uncle.. I could still hear his voice..

 

Around 3pm, Mom called again, and this time she was serious and wanted to speak to my uncle straight away. Then, I knew.. it was time.

 

A very short time of 3 months, knowing that I will not see him again... and whats worse is that... all the plans I had for him and Maktok once Ive started earning my own money was... just crushed!

 

Anyhow, I count myself lucky to have all the time in my childhood days to spent it with him. And I remember, I was at his place during the whole Ramadhan that year... managed to pujuk him to go shopping for himself. See, mom have a credit card for him to use tapi dia tak pernah nak guna.. so I jadi orang tengah la.. lama giler nak suruh dia gi shopping tapi tak nak je selalu... last2 he agreed just to go tempah only ONE pants. hehe. Well, ok... kita deal kat situ jer. Almost everyday time puasa tu.. I was with him to cari menu air utk buka puasa... Air mata kucing is one of his favourite.

 

Sampai skang, I will always fikir... my life would be different if he's still around. Lebih terjaga. and Gosh, lebih masalah la Amin time nak gi dating. ahaha. kawalan ketat wooo..! heh...

 

Tokbah, will always be missed.

Oh, exactly one year ago, I experienced my 1st miscarriage. It wasnt a nightmare, but, somehow it did made me down emotionaly but why the hell should i show it to the world kan?Me no drama queen yg nak simpati telling the world ngan citer dongeng fantasy dorang or even to  in my blog. If youre a mother, or who have been through the same situation, would undertand.  Some being insensitive and gave me remarks. Hmph. But, screw them. Im now menghitung hari of the arrival of this little new meaning of my life. :D

Today, bila nak pi lunch tadi... Pat reminded me to bring my car keys... tak tau naper, ikut jer... dia kata jgn tanya byk.. hahah... 

Pas makan dia mintak bawak gi bank... eheheh.. lama2 dah boleh hidu *sniff* *sniff*

Apa apa pun I was suprised, got a hug from me! heeh...

Thank you very much to the both of you.. I appreciate it alot!! 

Ladies and Gentlemen, now I have my lil boy's bath tub from my wishlist! hehe.. Im so happy!

Sundayyyyyyy

We woke up pretty late. Heh. Who cares, its a Sunday! And sleep is wat we need now and shud ENJOY till the baby comes! hehe.

Got ready, and upacara membasuh baju. :P

 

Pabila segalanya sudah siap, we first went to Ikea to have lunch and then to get the box (green one this time!). I showed Amin their muslin squares and he said that its so cute that we shud get one! heh. I blum check lagi the size, but wth, its cute! We also bought the bekas rupa turtle utk letak baby's baju or clothes yg dah pakai. hehe. And that one is blue pulak. So so cute!

 

Sbb masa mmg mencemburui kita, :P heh, so kita terus pegi hantar baju utk di basuh sbb earlier mmg tak sempat. Pegi pulak ke Babyland in ss2 as they are having their 28th Anniversary sale. Go cari for murah2 stuff and we got 2 items from there. Kat situ beli the all white Mosquito net - tudung saji type and mosquito patch. The tudung saji type will be senang sbb tutup je baby kan.. hehe and then kalau kat umah sendiri boleh la nak tebuk ceiling ke apa nak letak yg hanging type of kelambu. Plus, I can bring that anywhere je kan. Like balik kampung Amin ke or even when the baby tu kita letak dia mana2 atas katil ke.

 

Dah settle, pegi ke umah Ayah Jone. Jumpa2 with my cousins. best giler. Makan karipap, wah sedap. Lepaked and chillin with my cousins. I had a good time. Also confirmed terus je ngan my auntie pasal the tukang urut. Lets hope Johan can help to pick up the makcik and send her back.

 

Malam, nak dekat kul 10pm, sampai pulak ke clinic. Everythings doing well, ive gained 2 more kgs this time and the doctor is happy bout that. My blood pressure, urine test and everything bout me is fine.

 

For baby, his hearbeat is 144 beats pulak kali nih. He's in position, everythings doing good. 2/5 drpd kepala dia is already engaged. Next week, can tell kalau dah btul2 engaged ke tak. Boleh gak determine of his hari beranak. Erkk! Yg best baby can pulak put his kaki on my belly, cam standby nak tendang je.

 

We asked bout modes of strealizing kan. sbb we are not so sure. Tp kita akan discuss lagi pasal nih. :P

Pre register

On Saturday, pegi SJMC utk pre register to the hospital. At least kita dpt idea of the whole thing. Suma menda dah kira settle la nih. Tapi takde la perlu bayar apa apa dulu. but the deposit yang akan sampai sana is RM4,500. Kalau everything goes well and takde masalah, the harga pun mungkin akan lagi rendah lagi pada tu. Insyallah suma akan ok. 

Since mom's company still cover i.. :P And org tu tanya if I ada medical/insurance card. I just bukak je la my purse and show 2 cards that I haf. Mmg card ijau kita tu cover demam jer.. :P My AIA insurans card gives me corporate rate... its cheap cheaper than the normal price. Alhamdulillah.  For a single room including tax pun takat RM160-ish. 

We requested to go see the labour & post natal rooms. They pun showed us around and gave us the chance to tanya2 soalan suma. Apa apa pun, Im equipped with stuff already. hehe.. goooddiieee!! So far everything is cleared. Bout how long till the labour will the baby come see us? Bout breast feeding, and if we should bring my own breat pump? What will the baby and I need during our stay? So everythings good. :) 

Pehtu kita pun pegi la ke Subang Parade to have lunch and then pegi ke Mothercare to buy pressie for my lil new niece. We bought her 3 pcs of baju strpes and with ribbons.  Ada blue, pink and red... Aiyo so cute!! buying baju for girls make me go more gila!  

When mom dah siap kerja, pegi pulak ke rumah my cousin tu la utk visit and kasi pressie. Wah, mmg she's so cute! Yaya, im sure u've seen her thru skype kan? Comels ok. Wanted to carry her, but I have a thing with carrying other ppl's less than a week old baby. hehe.. I berani jer, as Ive taken care of all of my younger cousins. Me no problem with babies. Just afraid, at tis point, parents would be protective skit kan. :P So Id rather not la. Coz during my time, I THINK i wouldnt mind... tapi ntah la... I might nak bagi pada org2 yg dah biasa je kan... so, sama la rasa. Just out of respect. Ish anak orang ok! 

Mom also talked to Linda's mom pasal pantang punya barang, bengkung and all that. Her mom was very nice to share and bagi tips2 suma. 

I didnt get any pics coz my fone was kong kong...  

Malam pulak, pegi santai for dins dins and later to my parents to hantar the baby stuff that we bought. Senang citer hantar awal2. Nanti Amin pun takyah susah2 nak ulang alik je amik barang sorang when Im at my parents already. 

Ok, later today nak pegi Ikea to get box for the lil one punya barang, then to my auntie's house in Shah Alam to visit and ask her bout the tukar urut. Malam tu pulak, ke clini for our check up with baby. Hope everything goes well.

Hello again... 

As planned, May will be the month we habis belikan all the essentials for the baby and I gak. Gaji pun masuk on time. So just nice! 

Amin got back on Thursday gak from Singapore, but I still tido umah parents that nite as barang suma masih ada kat sana... and I was getting comfortable there.. Rasa cam kejap je kat sana.... 

Got back and ajaked Amin to go buy things je today. Senang citer kalau boleh wat suma skang nih je kan? A few days ago, Amee informed me that Debenhams were selling very cheap and pretty nursing bras... also today, I went to Giant's website and check out the price for their diapers. MMG sgt ngam. 

We 1st went to have our lunch and then only start buying stuff. Skang agak senang la nak beli barang, coz we already know what to get kan. 

So below are some of the things that we've bought today... 

[ 1 ] Mamypoko diaper for newborn 52 pcs -RM 32.49 

+ spoken to a few frens and apparently this is one of the best brand. Doesnt leak and yada yada... only thing is that, more on the expensive side. Yg best jugak, it has a pouch that wont kena the baby's tali pusat. So we terus bought 3 packs and thats also the maximum we can get at a time.  

[ 2 ] Bath towels and Burp towels - RM 9.99 each

+ Just in case that we need to use for anything kan? Burp tu mmg to letak je atas bahu... 

[ 3 ] Mothercare Breaspads 100pcs - RM 39.00

+ Baik punya bundle tu kan? Hehe. Its just breast pad, and paling byk quantity dia. 

[ 4 ] Dettol Hand Sanitizer - RM 13.59

+ Amin and Mom are gonna be strict about this, I warn ya! hehe.. Before you hold the baby, you gotta use this first! Germs free! :P Esp smokers.. hehe.. so kitaorg dah siap2kan beli... kalah ICU nanti ok? 

[ 5 ] Nursing bra @ Debenhams, twin pack - RM 53.70 from RM 179.00

+ Isnt that crazy? Giler sale kan? Dah la its designed by the baby book's author that we've got. Dr Miriam Stoppard... Tapi the sizes a big la... I got mine a little bit bigger, the cup...  As advised.

[ 6 ] Tommee Tippee Bottle Brush

+ Amin likes this one the best... and its designed to clean this type of bottle pun kan, better. It has a rubber material at the point to clean up the teat.

+ Mmg dah suka kan, Amin tot its best that we take 2. Senang citer.

+ Im not sure how good it is, but will see how nanti kan? I've heard that Anakku pun elok, nanti la try satu2...

+ Bawak ni gak coz in case tak dpt nak breastfeed, I still can express and give to baby. :) Just in case kan.

+ Bawak terus. Just in case gak. Kang leaking, apa kes pakai tissue je?

+ 01 bring home clothes, 3 onesies, 01 sleepsuit, 2 mittens, 01 hat, 01 newborn shoes, 05 socks, 5pcs diaper and, er yes thats all that we have now.

+ Kain batik, 2 socks, 01 front buttond shirt, 2 nursing bras and the rest like baju, Amin's baju, towels, slippers and other stuff will be added biler dah siap basuh and all.
