Baby room Review : One Utama New Wing

I never knew about this baby room until yesterday. 

Rayyan & I were in OU, mintak the Toast Box shop for some air suam to make Rayyan's susu. (Yes, I don't have those thermos thing yet). They were very helpful and generous to help. One of the kakak there told me about this baby room and of course, I gotta check it out. 

Coz the only one I know in OU, besides in Jusco and those INSIDE the toilets (yucks!) is in Parkson. I like it there too, its just that, its not well kept. Some of the workers guna bilik tu utk borak2 on the phone pulak. 

Anyways, I think this new one is so much better.   

This Baby Room is located on the 2nd floor of New Wing, which is also the Children's floor. Here is the unit number A_S329. It's near to the AmBank & Maybank ATM machine.  

Enterance

TV Corner was showing Ice Age

 And as you enter, you will see the tv corner on your left. This will be very much useful for older kids while mummy settlekan the younger siblings. Or for Dads too.

I suka sgt this part, where each person gets their own bin and tissue. 

Enterance of the nursing rooms

This is how it looks like in one of the nursing rooms

They have 6 rooms in there (OMG) yes, so us mothers don't need to berebut :P or I mean, wait for their turn. Coz, you know, some babies need more time than others. 

Just to recap, here are the things that they have in there: - 

• TV area for kids and also Dads (NO man allowed beyond the nursing area)
• Kiddies table & chairs
• 2 clean sinks, huge mirror & liquid soap 
• Water dispenser, HOT & WARM
• 4 changing tables, each with own tissue & bin.
• Waiting area with selection of magazines
• 6 nursing rooms, each with a single sofa. (All rooms can be closed) 

Location : 2nd Floor, near the AMbank & Maybank ATM Machine.

I'd say this is the best baby room in the whole of PJ/KL!

Many would know that I am a loyal person but EASILY get bored :P 

Ha macam mana tu? Dah bosan with the old layout, so I thought of changing to the new Blogger Template. They have pretty designs and I like this one the most. 

Doesn't mean, "AwanPurple" kena colour purple forever kan? *Alasan*

My favourite TV shows

Walaupun lah I ni bukannya a couch potato yang boleh duduk depan TV berjam-jam lamanya. Idak ler. Pening kepala jadinya. Tapi itu tidak bernakna I don't have any favourites :P 

I doo, dooo, dooooo! :P 

Sejak kecil kita dah tengok macam-macam jenis cartoon, '80s babies, you know the list lah. I don't need to say it here coz we all like the same things. Lepas itu mula lah dengan comedy, macam Full House (yang Amin & I watch every night now before tidur), Small Wonder, Home Improvement, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Beverly Hills 90210, F.R.I.E.N.D.S and etc. 

Yang kat bawah-bawah ni adalah shows that I like watching bila berumur after dah 20an. Hehe.  

The O.C

Bemulanya dengan The O.C. Waduh. I loved the show. The characters dalam tu takda nak ngada sangat. Cerita-cerita macam ni, berkisar di antara orang kaya and whatnot... buat lagi la cerita up bomb bam bomb. Like everything is possible for them. Ryan dalam cerita ni, was from a troubled family and was adopted by this really close rich family with only son from Carlifornia. Just recently that I managed to get to finish the last season. Patah semangat coz one cast was killed in Season 3. Bluergh. Memang buat jadi tak best dah.

They are still airing their latest Season 7. Amin & I never missed an episode of this show. Peminat setia, walaupun umph dia dah makin kurang. Suspen tersangat cerita-cerita dia tapi ada unsur-unsur kelakar. Tak pernah kering idea agaknya. My favorite character in this show are Lynette Scavo and  Gaby Solis. They are so cute! I feel like I can relate to them.

Gossip Girl

Masa tengok cerita The O.C tu, I had a couple of my cousins pun terikut sama tengok cerita tu. Siap datang rumah nak habiskan cerita DVD. Hehe, so lepas tu they recommended that I watch Gossip Girl pulak. I was not keen at first because, hati sudah tetap pada The O.C. Hehe. But later masa dalam pantang, terasa pulak nak start tengok. Oh WoW. BEst giLer! Hehe.. Yes, I love it. Of course, secara moralnya tak elok lah, like everybody has slept with each other and they during those time they were in high school. Haha But their clothes (and boys!!) are so OMG! My favourite characters are Chuck Bass & Serena Van der Woodsen. No no, no as a couple. :P

Yang ini pulak, saja nak check it out. Hehe, since they kept winning awards and all. They got me at 2nd episode :) Macam-macam lagu ol skool dia nyanyi, wah! I love the whole Season 1. Season 2 ni, tak gemar... songs I don't know :P and ada pulak unsur-unsur gay/homosexual. I am not against it, nor I am into it. But, Kissing scene for gays? I don't expect it and I never want to see it. Tapi masih tengok lah, pejam sebelah mata kind. In this show pulak, I like Finn Hudson & Mister Will Shuester :)

My cousin, Jessie, who recommended that I watch it sebab I suka Twilight and all. This is different kind of vampire. I've watched the 1st episode long time ago but tak tau and lagi la tak ingat apa nama cerita ni. Hehe. Ok, kanak-kanak mahupun remaja, sila jangan tengok lah. Adults, part-part hardcore 18SX tu sila la forward saja. :P Memang, BANYAK! Takut je. Haha. Porn ke apa ni? But, besides all that I memang suka the story and the Texas accent in the show. Wah. Best. Dalam ni, percaya atau tidak, I like all characters. All so strong and funny and confident. Best! Oklah, paling suka is of course Sookie Stackhouse, Eric Northman & Jessica Hamby :)

Yang ni pulak, recommended by Fat. I wasn't interested at first when I first came across the show, but Fat jual terel btul and I had to watch oh, best sangat! Especially bab hero hero Mystic Fall ni. More like Twilight, high skool kids vampire thingy but this one has more action and history lah. Which I like also lah. Banyak jugak facts and history nak ingat, honestly, I am a bit LOST! hehe The girl in it, Elena, is so much cooler and ALIVE than Bella :P In this show, I am TEAM STEFAN yo!

Pretty Little Liars

Jessie recommended me this show. Gave me her DVD so I'd watch too so we both can story together. Hehe. The show was nice lah, sebab dorang cakap sepatah-sepatah and I really like that. And then I like jugak macam mana this group are together but all of them have different styles and issues. To me the show is a bit draggyyyyyyy, coz I don't like to wait so long. Tapi masih nak tau what really happened. Nasib baik a guy named Caleb came in and that helped alot. Kat cerita ni, ada pulak lesbian issue in one of the characeters, about coming out of the closet, parents learning to accept, rumors, girlfriend and yada yada- and yes, a few of kissing scene. Honestly, I don't like. The Kiss. The rest oklah, boleh terima lagi but kiss is a bit too much. (Let's not talk about my opinion on this matter, coz that will be out of the topic-again... I have nothing against homosexual)  As you would guess, my favourite character in Pretty Little Liars are Caleb River and Hannah Marin.

Yang ni, I dah bosan sangat and pegi je cari sendiri any top listed shows. I kindda glad I chose to watch this coz its so funny. Selamber sangat lawaknya. Go watch it! My favourite characters are Virginia & Burt Chance. The parents of the main character. Kelakar tau diaorang tu. :P

Disney on Ice 2011

At first, we were deciding whether to go to Bruno Mars concert or have a family quality time at the Disney on Ice. Oh and I LOVE Bruno Mars, his songs can easily make me smile and kalau kalau tension atau sedih tu kadang-kadang dengar lagu dia... hati seronok & happy lah balik. Aceh.

Tapi mana dapat digantikan apabila dapat tengok si Rayyan happy and excited dapat tengok his Disney characters! So, takpe la, forget about Bruno Mars tu, walaupun by the time dah decide tak pergi pun dapat tau yang his concerts are SOLD OUT! Wow!

Jadi we bought our tickets just a day before the show :P We kindda forgot bout it. Wasn't sure about the date so guess what, we missed all the 15% discounts that we could get for being  a Toys R Us member and Maxis subscribers. Aiyak!

Our deal was to get the front seat, coz Rayyan's so small kan nak nampak if duduk dekat belakang orang. Alhamdulillah, memang rezeki dia, we got two seats corner and depan sekali. Kalau takde tu, mungkin akan cancel terus je, tak pergi. Our show was on Saturday, 08:30pm.

Hari yang nak pergi tu pulak, he didn't nap the whole day, Dad pulak bawak dia pegi playground in the evening. Waduh, balik, mandi,siap and terus dia tidur. Honestly, I was so afraid that he would sleep through the show. Sayangggggggnya kalau macam tu. Tapi, dah rezeki dia lagi sekali, when we woke him up in the car, elok saja dia bangun. Not cranky at all :) Yeaayyy! I guess, dia tau jugak kot, since we kept reminding him that he was going to go for this show.

Yang bestnya jugak, he loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse jadi kenal la gang-gang Mickey ni. He likes Cars, Lion King and The Little Mermaid. Well, TLM baru-baru jugak dia tgk tapi kalau dah ada fish...hm, tak perlu risau. Confirm suka. :) Only, he doesn't know who Tinker Bell is :P

My boy had a great time at the show! Wee.. sikit-sikit tepuk and dance. Nanti kita pergi Disneyland pulak ok, kat sana lagi best... :) InsyaAllah...

Tho, Amin & I thought that the ones they used to have back when we were kids were so much better.. Yeah. We both got the chance to sit at the VIP Box area and so close to the rink and lebih meriah lah! Serious! Hehe This time, even we were at the VIP Area.. still good but tak VIP sgt la kot.. hehehe.. but, yeah, we had a good time too :) Maybe dah tua kot, feeling lain la... hehe... I don't know..

I insisted that Amin beli the Disney on Ice Mug, walaupun dalam tu isi ice aje with strawberry flavour syrup. Hehe, kenangan lah... its you know, must have! Rayyan loved it too. Dia yang habiskan ice ice tu :P

DIY Colouring book

I made this stack of his favourite characters for him to colour. Sgt excited sampai nak tidur pun nak pegang jugak. He screameddd when I took it away to simpan. Haha. Ok.

I didn't make his into a book, coz he likes it on the clipboard like that.




Its alot cheaper and dan dan tu dah dapat kan? Of coz, you need a printer :) In my case I just use my brother's :) and here is the site that I went to :
